The total number of globes, tellurias and armillary spheres in the Map Collection of the Faculty of Science, Charles Univesity is 189.
The Digital Globe Collection contains 97* objects that are not protected by copyright law and can be presented publicly.
Of these, 9 objects are processed as a 3D model. In total, you will find 106* objects on this portal, which can be divided into 97 in 2D and 9 in 3D.

To view the catalogue and filter, press the button:
In the catalogue you can easily choose between 2D and 3D viewing of the globes by toggling:
Click on the globe preview to see its tab with detailed information.
The full bibliographic record including metadata is available in the UKAZ database under the icon:

Switching between 2D and 3D models (if the object has a 3D model) is possible using the buttons:

Filtering
You can filter in detail in the catalog using the following button:
The last item allows you to set how the filtered objects will be sorted.
After setting the selected parameters click the button:
A preview of the objects that match the query appears at the bottom, and the number of objects is also listed.
The filter remembers the set values, so there is no need to enter the whole query again. If you want to clear all selected parameters, click the button:
3D models
The digital globe collection contains 9 3D models. Many of them are based on the WebGL library.
To enable the WebGL library in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, set up your browser according to this video.
In case of malfunction, change the web browser or detect the problem on WebGL.
